Job Description:

Chicago Law Firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 4-5 years of experience in construction litigation to join the team.  The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing skills and a strong background in handling construction-related legal matters.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in construction litigation cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice.
• Attend and conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Prepare for and participate in trials and arbitration hearings.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and manage case files.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Illinois.
• 4-5 years of experience in construction litigation.
• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Strong oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle a high caseload and work independently.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Team player with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
