Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Representing clients in court proceedings regarding collection and bankruptcy.
- Preparing and drafting various legal documents such as briefs, motions, appeals, agreements, and contracts.
- Conducting extensive legal research to support client cases.
- Negotiating settlements to resolve disputes in favor of clients.
- Collaborating with our legal team to develop effective strategies for managing cases.
- Staying updated on current laws and regulations within the collection and bankruptcy field to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice to clients.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience as an attorney.
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the Pennsylvania or New Jersey. (Bonus points for both!)
- Experience or interest in collection and bankruptcy litigation.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases with varying degrees of complexity.
