Associate Attorney - Civil Defense - CyberCoders

As an Associate Attorney, you will play a key role in managing civil litigation defense cases across various practice areas, including Employment and Labor Law, General Litigation, Business Law, Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Product Liability, Construction Defects, Landlord/Tenant disputes, and Contracts/Commercial matters. Your ability to build and maintain client relationships will be crucial in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

This role is in Pasadena, CA and expected to be 5 days onsite in office to start! Future Hybrid Potential

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of civil litigation defense, from inception through trial, including discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Maintain and cultivate client relationships by providing regular updates, legal advice, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Represent clients in court, including pre-trial hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Prepare and review legal reports, contracts, briefs, and other documentation.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, aiming for favorable outcomes while minimizing costs and risks.
• Work closely with Partners and other team members to strategize and execute case plans effectively.
  
  

You Bring!

• 2+ years of Civil Defense Litigation
• Experience in one or more of the following practice areas:
• Employment and Labor Law, General Civil Litigation, Business Law, Insurance Defense, Premises Liability, Product Liability, Construction Defects, Landlord/Tenant disputes, and Contracts/Commercial matters
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• CA Bar
