Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Attorney with an interest in Plaintiff's Personal injury and Worker's Compensation law to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in personal injury or Worker's Compensation;

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and client needs.

• Draft legal documents, including demands, complaints, motions, etc.

• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.

• Maintain organized case files and documentation in accordance with legal standards.

• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to enhance case strategies and share insights.

• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting practice areas.

• speak to clients and keep them informed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the Illinois bar;

• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.

• Strong skills in legal drafting and administrative tasks within a law office setting.

• Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving client objectives.

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

This is an in person job but some flexibility can be discussed. Must have reliable transportation to handle court calls in Cook, Dupage, Kane County, and Will County.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year (Firm Pays Bonus above salary)
