Job Details
Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Attorney specializing in Business/Employment Litigation. This role is an extraordinary opportunity to join a dynamic team of legal professionals, where you will be entrusted with significant responsibility and client interaction. This position requires a firm understanding and practical knowledge of one of the following practice areas employment law, construction law, professional liability, business litigation, and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in these areas and a proven track record of delivering excellent legal services to clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a diverse caseload of business and employment litigation matters, including employment law, construction law, professional liability, business litigation, and commercial litigation.
2. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on various legal matters.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
4. Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
5. Develop legal strategies and present oral and written legal opinions.
6. Conduct legal discovery and gather evidence for trials.
7. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and legal trends in the areas of business and employment litigation.
8. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Current license to practice law in California.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment law, construction law, professional liability, business litigation, and commercial litigation in California.
4. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
5. Proven experience in legal discovery and drafting legal opinions.
6. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
7. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
8. Proficient in using legal research tools and software.
9. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a high level of attention to detail.
10. Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.
