We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our prestigious Legal team. Our firm is recognized for its commitment to delivering superior service to our clients, and we are looking for an individual who can effectively contribute to our growing practice. As an integral part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging bankruptcy and creditors' rights cases, adversary proceedings, state court receiverships, and out-of-court restructurings.
Responsibilities:
As an Associate Attorney, you will:
1. Represent clients in a wide range of bankruptcy, reorganization, and workout matters.
2. Handle complex adversary proceedings and bankruptcy cases.
3. Provide legal counsel to clients on state court receiverships and out-of-court restructurings.
4. Conduct research to support legal proceedings and to initiate legal actions.
5. Draft and negotiate complex legal documents and agreements.
6. Collaborate with our team of attorneys to develop effective case strategies.
7. Maintain current knowledge of changes in legislation and case law that may affect our clients.
8. Uphold the highest ethical standards and comply with all rules of professional conduct.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for our Associate Attorney position will possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member of the Missouri Bar.
3. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, adversary proceedings, state court receiverships, and out-of-court restructurings.
4. Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
5. Excellent legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
6. Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters and to communicate effectively with clients.
7. Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
