The Associate Account Executive will be responsible for helping to develop existing State, City, and local agencies by expanding existing relationships and identifying business challenges and identify Verint solutions that can be positioned to resolve those business challenges and then work with their Account Executive to position those solutions to the agency. The Associate Account Executive could also be responsible for helping to qualify net-new opportunities for government solutions within the State & Local Government Business.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities Essential responsibilities
+ Position and sell Verint’s portfolio of solutions.
+ Drive net new revenue growth through new logo acquisition and expansion of current accounts.
+ Execute sales plan outlined for you territory by the RVP and territory AE. Ability to report against any weekly and monthly KPI against sales plan targets.
+ Maintain status of the sales pipeline and results of prospecting activities working.
+ Build and expand relationships within partner network of existing accounts to align and position growth and expansion to agency account
+ Build and expand relationships within existing customer and responsible for understanding the agencies business needs and direction.
+ Maintain a comprehensive and on-going knowledge of Verint products and technology, as well as industry trends.
+ Must be able to effectively prospect and identify business opportunities, conduct needs analysis
+ Effective and Professional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal are required with the ability to penetrate and establish relationships with customer’s senior level executives.
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
+ One year of quota-carrying experience selling SaaS, B2B applications, or other enterprise software experience
+ Ability to work in a quick, agile growing business environment
+ Ability to stay up to date on competitive landscape and technology.
+ A history of consistently meeting sales quotas and creating/growing pipeline in net new territories.
+ Strong applications background and understanding of software systems.
+ Proven track record of exceeding quota attainment.
+ Must be a prover self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative and ownership
+ Experience researching, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling into net new
+ Experience selling into Public Sector (State and Local government, DoD, Federal/Civilian)
+ Travel approximately 20%.
+ Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.
+ The ability to obtain the necessary credit line required to travel.
+ 2+ years of Business to Government selling from existing and from a lead development .
