About the Job
The Associate Account Executive - Amazon will be responsible for the account management of SPARC’s wholesale Amazon business. They will partner with internal cross-functional partners, Amazon Vendor Management, as well as an external marketing agencies in order to deliver results. This person should have experience running 1P Amazon businesses. This individual will have a passion for learning and solving problems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing accounts, particularly in running a direct Amazon business, and be highly proficient in retail math and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:• Create, plan, and execute Seasonal product selection, promotions, and new item set ups
• Create & deliver forward looking plans to address sales and operational opportunities, activate seasonal categories, or further leverage momentum
• Communicate timely and effectively
• Foster Key Cross Functional relationships
• Advises leadership on functional progress, status, trends, and issues.
• Monitors and Resolves daily business challenges and notifications
• Run and optimize a direct Amazon business, including partnering with planning on inventory management, forecasting, and performance analytics.
• Utilize Amazon forecasting tools to predict sales trends and inventory needs.
• Communicate and report on business performance to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Analyze sales data and key metrics to drive business strategy and inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
• Monitor and optimize pricing, promotions, and product listings to maximize profitability.
• Leverage MS Office, particularly Excel, to manage and analyze sales reports, forecasts, and other critical data.
• Apply retail math concepts to assess profitability, margins, and inventory turnover.
• 3-4 years of professional experience in account management or related roles, preferably within the wholesale apparel industry.
• 1-2 years of direct experience running an Amazon business, including familiarity with Amazon forecasting tools and Vendor Central.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.).
• Strong understanding of retail math (e.g., margins, markdowns, inventory turns).
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and report on key metrics.
• Ability to analyze customer shopping behavior and make/execute conversion driving catalog enhancements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present business insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts with minimal supervision.

• Adhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration. Job duties may be performed effectively using the hybrid work program designated by the company.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication methods
• Ability to position self to reach at or below shoulder level
• Ability to carry equipment, move boxes/samples, etc.
Requirements & EEO Statement:The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 annually Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to position offered and work experience.
