Job Title: Weekend Housekeeper

Job Summary: The Weekend Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents and staff. This position focuses on maintaining the cleanliness of common areas, resident rooms, and facility spaces during weekend shifts. Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitation:

• Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in common areas, resident rooms, and bathrooms.

• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately.

• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used and maintained safely and effectively.

• Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and towels as needed.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and cleaning standards, including proper use of cleaning agents and equipment.

• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.

• Follow infection control procedures to minimize the spread of illness and ensure a healthy environment.

Customer Service:

• Interact with residents, families, and staff in a friendly and respectful manner.

• Address any concerns or special cleaning requests promptly and professionally.

• Contribute to a positive atmosphere by maintaining a welcoming and cheerful demeanor.

Teamwork:

• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations during weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial work is an asset.

Physical Requirements:
