About the Job
Summary of Position: As Assistant Project Coordinator for Precision General Commercial Contractors, Inc., you will be working in the Sausalito office. You will report to the Project Coordinator. You will be expected to comply with the Precision GCC, Inc. Employment Handbook.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs other duties as required and assigned
- Take direction from the Project Coordinator, who are overseeing project(s) to which you are assigned.
- Make sure all work has positive effect on the Quality, Safety, Timeliness and PGCC Costs.
- Complete draw submission to lenders, including completed AIA G702-703 and all associated lien releases, invoices and change orders. All draws to be in the lender's office five (5) days prior to draw meeting.
- Schedule and coordinate draw meetings. Contact all lenders, owners and associated owner's representative(s) on draw meeting dates. Establish a draw meeting schedule at the start of each job.
- Pre-lien all projects assigned.
- Coordinate and complete the filing of "Notice of Completion" for each project assigned. Work with Project Manager's to implement.
- Organize Projects in a Project Binder to include:
- Prime contract
- Notice to Proceed
- All subcontracts (including change orders)
- PGCC reallocation; change orders
- Notice of Completion
- Input, as necessary, all subcontractor insurance information in American Contractors accounting system. Verify subcontractors' insurance complies with PGCC standards.
- Input invoicing into American Contractors prior to each draw.
- Prevailing Wage: Verify all subcontractors are aware of Prevailing Wage requirements. With each draw package sent to PGCC Accounting staff (Nila and Jahan), submit Prevailing Wage Certified Payrolls. Check rates and dates and Certified Payrolls. Ensure subcontractors are using correct dates.
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:
Education:
- High school degree; preferably enrolled in undergraduate program
Experience and Skills:
- Basic Computer Skills (Scheduling Programs, Microsoft)
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve
- Excellent organizational skills; detailed oriented
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Able to manage and coordinate multiple tasks
- Ability to quickly and appropriately prioritize conflicting demands
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand, bend, reach, stoop and lift boxes up to 10 lbs.
- Able to work in a fast-pace environment for extended periods of time
- Able to sit at desk, working on computer and phones for a full work day
