About the Position:
The TA is responsible for assisting the CSR in the servicing of Personal Insurance Policies. In performing these duties, the TA is expected to meet the agency’s defined standards for client service, professionalism, ethics and work attitude.

Job Responsibilities:

- New Business
- Renewals
- Endorsements
- Cancellations
- Audits
- Billing
- Certificates
- Payments
- Claims
- Maintain the TAM Agency Management System records in an up-to-date manner.
- Assist in policy checking and prepare final policy materials for the CSR and/or Producer.
- Maintain customer files in an orderly manner.
- Input all commercial new business, renewals, and endorsements (including audits and cancellations) received back from the companies.
- Request non-premium bearing endorsements as needed.
- Certificates of Insurance - Assist with certificates of insurance as requested by C/L staff.
- Follow up on all assigned activities and properly document the follow up in the activity section of TAM. Urgent activities are to be referred to the CSR for immediate follow up and a phone call if necessary.
- Keep an accurate time sheet noting arrival, break start, break end and departure times if Part-time.
- Cancellations – Check five days prior to cancellation date. If not paid give to the appropriate Account Representative (CSR/Producer).
- Run MVR reports when needed and keep all personal MVR information confidential from the employer.
- Light phone work may be needed, but most communications will be through email.
- Special tasks as assigned by CLM.
Knowledge. Skills and Qualifications:
Property & Casualty license is preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of State Insurance Laws, P&C coverage definitions preferred, but not required.
One or more years of Technical Assistant experience or 1-2 years agency experience (Preferred).
Strong oral and written communication abilities. Training/development skills required. Able to organize, coordinate and direct workflow. Able to use all related hardware and software.
Intermediate knowledge of the TAM system is Preferred, but not required.
Reliable, dependable, trustworthy and discreet.
Compensation & Benefits:
. Full Time position
. $18-$20 depending on experience. Higher if experienced with P&C Insurance License Status
. 100% paid PPO/HMO medical insurance
. Yea rend profit sharing and bonus, depending on company performance
. 15 Vacation days for Full time.
. Forty-Eight paid sick leave hours annually
