Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning.
- Provide care and supervision for toddlers, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
- Facilitate communication with parents regarding children's progress and classroom activities.
- Engage students in literacy education and math through interactive games and activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to assess student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- Experience or education in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with special education strategies for working with children with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young children.
- Previous experience in private school settings or daycare facilities is a plus.
High School Diploma/GED or higher required
