Assistant Superintendent - Gpac

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Superintendent to assist our Superintendent in managing and overseeing construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Superintendent in managing and overseeing construction projects from start to finish
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure that project timelines and budget goals are met
• Ensure that construction work is completed to the required quality standards
• Conduct inspections and walkthroughs of construction sites to identify and resolve any issues that may arise
• Manage and maintain project documentation, including plans, permits, and contracts
• Provide regular updates to the Superintendent on project progress and any issues that may arise

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management or related field
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
