Lycoming College is hiring an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach
Lycoming College, one of the nations oldest residential liberal arts and sciences colleges, invites candidates for its part-time Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach position.
This position is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of strength and conditioning programs for Lycoming Colleges varsity athletic teams. This person will be involved with conducting and supervising strength & conditioning sessions, scheduling of facilities, budget management, equipment inventory, and monitoring the student athletes progress.
This position is a part-time position that will pay $11,700 per fiscal year.

What will I do in this role?
- Design of designated team and student / volunteer intern exercise-related training programs.
- Assist in overseeing the athletic performance operation while remaining in compliance with College, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
- Supervise the facility as needed.
- Anticipate potential risks of injury; take measures to remove the risks and alert the participants of the risks.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelors degree required.
- Collegiate level sports performance experience of at least 1 year required.
- Current certification by National Strength & Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist or by the Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association (SCCC or Master SCC) must be in progress or already attained.
