About Us: 

Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop was born in Pittsburgh, PA, in 2012. We've grown from a single store to 17 locations (and counting!) across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, West Virginia, and Minnesota. We also offer national distribution of candy and soda to over 15,000 independent retailers.

Here's What We're Looking For: 

As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll wear many hats, managing various aspects of our store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash management, team scheduling, training and coaching, inventory control, shift coverage, merchandising, stocking, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You'll set the standard by leading from the front, driving sales, and cultivating a culture of excellence. 

• Experienced: Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in retail management within a dynamic and hands-on environment. 

• Dependable:With our store open 7 days a week, we need reliable individuals who are available for 35-40 hours per week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Flexibility to work both opening and closing shifts is essential. A dependable mode of transportation and a valid driver's license are required. 

• Outgoing Personality:We're seeking individuals who have a sense of humor and genuinely enjoy interacting with kids (actual kids and the adult kind), helping customers stroll down memory lane, andcreating memorable experiences.
