Strategy Insights & Planning Associate Consultant (SIP AC)

Strategy Insights & Planning Associate Consultants create and deliver solutions for our clients and project teams. SIP ACs leverage their analytic, synthesis and communication skills to derive insights and solve business problems. In particular, SIP ACs apply problem-solving frameworks to client issues, support clients in change initiatives and employ standard analytic techniques to help guide client decisions.

ZS’s Real World Data & Insight team is a Venture/start-up within ZS, funded by partners following Venture Capital model, reporting to the ZS board (Shareholder Council).  The venture is enabling business transformation by leveraging real-world patient data to drive differentiated patient outcomes and enhance customer engagement. We achieve this by creating differentiated solutions, partnerships and client advisory to better solve problems across Healthcare.  The team brings management consulting, deep technologists, data sciences methods and solutioning capabilities together to create globally scalable solutions and deployable services.

Responsibilities:

•Formulate hypotheses and design custom analyses that can be used to solve the problem

•Leverage problem solving skills and frameworks to develop solutions to client business problems

•Develop and apply statistical models that help clients understand dynamic business issues;

•Synthesize and communicate results to clients and ZS teams through oral and written presentations;

•Effectively summarize analyses or research output highlighting insights and present outcomes using Excel, PowerPoint, ZS’s proprietary software, among others

•Collaborate with client and ZS teams to implement solutions;

•Take immediate responsibility for project management and deliverable

•Drive problem solving and advance ZS’s sales + marketing capabilities.

•Build subject matter expertise in order to understand the overall business of the client and execute similar projects more efficiently

•Guide and mentor Associates on teams.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's or master's degree in any discipline with a strong academic record; preferred background in economics, mathematics, statistics

•2-5 years of relevant post-collegiate job experience (3+ for candidates with bachelor’s degree)

•Aptitude for analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, with a creative outlook

•Comfortable with unstructured problems

•Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset

•Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

•Strong oral and written communication skills;

•Empathy, adaptability and emotional intelligence

•Self-discipline for planning and organizing tasks

•High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative

ZS is a global consulting firm. Fluency in English is required; additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
