Assistant Store Director - La Plaza Supermarket

About the Job
Basic Responsibilities
To assist the store director in coordinating and directing all phases of store operations.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Observe and enforce all store rules and company policies.
- Plan, organize, direct, and control all store activities and operations with the assistance of department managers and other supervisory personnel.
- Be responsible for making sure that the store is in compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining safety and security standards and procedures for all areas within the store and parking lot.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Should have recognizable experience in management of others.
- Be able to meet or exceed targeted financial goals and performance objectives.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the cyclical nature of the grocery industry, team members are required to work varying shifts and schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, which reflect the Company's operating requirements.
