Job Overview:Capable of performing test methods for complex formulations under general oversight and documenting those experiments per cGMP requirements. Must be able to calculate, organize, and communicate results via standard data templates and reports. Experience in a cGMP laboratory and testing. Provide general laboratory assistance including planning, design and execution of experiments. Assist in editing of SOPs, protocol, methods, and reports.
Responsibilities:- Assist in or perform planning, design, and execution of experiments with guidance from supervisor/senior staff
- Assist in edit of SOPs, protocol, methods, and reports
- Provide general laboratory assistance across groups
- Appropriate wet chemistry techniques.
- Able to perform laboratory duties that require standing for 80-90% of the work day, lifting containers of 4+L of liquid, fine motor skills necessary for conducting laboratory experiments.
- Must possess good organizational skills, a commitment to quality work, and good oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
PREFERRED
- Experience with HPLC, GC, FTIR, or other analytical instrumentation. Experience working with inhalation dosage forms. Work experience in a GMP and/or GLP environment. Able to wear a respirator.
- Minimum - Bachelor's of Science Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with 1+ years of related experience.
