As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play an integral role in building our brand through exceptional service to guests and staff. You will actively maintain budgets for supplies and labor while cultivating guest relations through regular table visits. You will also create schedules for all front-of-house positions and ensure proper closing systems are in place in both the kitchen and front-of-house areas. Your strong understanding of P&L management will help influence profitability while your problem-solving skills will come in handy during high-stress situations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain budgets for supplies and labor.
- Cultivate guest relations through regular table visits.
- Create schedules for all front-of-house positions.
- Perform weekly ordering, inventory, and organization of supplies.
- Work with Closing Chef/Kitchen Manager on closing procedures.
- Uphold employment laws and safety procedures.
- Interact with employees in a fair manner.
- Become proficient in all job functions of front and back-of-house employees.
- Work well with others and be a team player.
- Conduct daily business with a positive and teamwork mentality.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience as a manager in a full-service restaurant.
- Strong understanding of P&L management.
- Ability to delegate and lead a team.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-stress situations.
