We are currently looking to add an Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team!
This position will work out of our main office and visit local properties daily. The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for day-to-day communication with residents, leasing units to prospective applicants, and general upkeep of multi-family housing communities.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Show and assist with leasing available units
- Review prospective resident applications
- Generate relevant documents for resident move-ins
- Day-to-day resident relations and correspondence
- Achieve resident retention via community engagement and activities
- Assist with rent collection and delinquencies
- Inspect units and overall property condition
- Light maintenance and groundskeeping as needed
- Assist with unit turnovers and common area cleaning as needed
- Assist with coordinating maintenance/contact work
- Carry a company issued cell phone for on-call after hour emergencies
- May travel locally to other properties as needed
- Complete monthly workflows in Yardi Voyager
- Submit various monthly and annual reports
- Comply with all Fair Housing laws
- Other miscellaneous tasks as needed
Requirements
- Leasing, real estate, sales, or property management experience preferred
- Knowledge of relevant computer applications (Office 365, Yardi, etc.)
- Proficient in data entry
- Ability to pass a criminal background check in compliance with the Kari Koskinen Act
- Must have a valid US Driver's License
