Redwood is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and professional Assistant Project Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the coordination and management of our construction projects. You will work closely with Project Managers to ensure smooth project execution and successful delivery.
General Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project Managers to organize, procure, and process submittals with trade partners and the design team.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including vendors, general contractors, trade partners, and municipal partners.
- Assist in the management of project budgets, change orders, ticket tracking, schedules, and coordination of projects.
- Conduct internal meetings with the team, clients, and consultants to ensure project alignment and progress.
- Conduct administrative duties, such as setting up meetings, drafting invoices, and drawing quantity takeoffs and estimating.
- Tracking and reporting project progress through weekly scorecard measurement.
- Performing other duties assigned by the Project Manager in accordance with the MIT (Most Important Thing) process.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software, preferably Procore.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with sustainable and green building practices is a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience in commercial or residential construction.
- Valid driver's license and clean DMV driving record.
Salary and Benefits:
- Full-time position.
- Salary range $50,000 - $70,000, commensurate with experience.
