About the Job
BCS has an immediate opening for an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team supporting the U.S. Office of Evaluation and Inspections (OEI).
This hybrid position is located in Washington, D.C. The onsite requirements are subject to change according to stakeholder needs.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting PM by coordinating and completing project activities with internal and external stakeholders and overcoming obstacles, ensuring each project phase is completed on schedule.
- Must be able to assess the viability of potential renewable and alternative energy resilience project opportunities as part of a team of engineers and finance professionals.
- OEI has project schedules derived from schedule templates that the project team will need to regularly update. The Assistant Project Manager (APM) is expected to have the capabilities to support updates to their PMs' project schedules, and a full-time dedicated project scheduler is not expected.

- US Citizenship
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
- A bachelor's degree in an applicable field
- 0-3 years of program management experience
- Knowledge and understanding of energy technologies and applications.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and conducting listening sessions.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication, writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Preferred Requirements
- A background in government contracts, defense, or the energy sector
- Any prior military experience
