We are on the hunt for a dynamic, driven, and detail-oriented Permanent Assistant Project Manager to join our vibrant team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company in the Construction industry, where you'll be involved in a variety of local projects, earning top dollar for your expertise. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of both horizontal and vertical construction projects.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Assisting the Project Manager in all phases of project management including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
2. Utilizing your experience in horizontal and vertical construction to oversee and monitor project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
3. Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other construction specialists to ensure project objectives are met.
4. Tracking and reporting on project progress, and proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.
5. Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.
6. Assisting in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and contracts.
7. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar role in the construction industry.
2. Demonstrated experience in managing horizontal and vertical construction projects.
3. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
7. Proficient in using project management software and tools.
