Your New Role:
Prepare submission documents and electrical estimates, including change order documentation.
Type and assemble proposals and change orders.
Conduct material takeoffs/counts and track project costs, submittal submissions, and reviews.
Track Requests for Information and responses, as well as change order logs.
Procure electrical materials and coordinate with the design team, including Habco and the General Contractor’s team.
Attend Pre-Construction Design meetings and convey information to the Project Manager.
Review design team drawings for errors and omissions and design documents for cost-saving solutions.
Perform minor AutoCAD drafting as needed.

You don’t have 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.

3+ years of experience in the electrical industry
Understanding of the National Electrical Code
Ability to read and understand construction blueprints
Ability to understand construction documents (contracts, schedules, RFI’s, addendums, payment applications/billings, etc.)
Ability to recognize construction issues & problems relating to the electrical installation, and the ability to recommend corrective measures
Proficient in computers, including MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, and McCormick Estimating software.
Knowledge and understanding of electrical construction costs
Assisting in electrical estimating, writing bid proposals, and change orders
Assisting in project submittals, RFI’s, and tracking responses to implement into the project
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
