POSITIONSUMMARY:
TheAssistant Project Manager isresponsible forassistingandsupportingProjectManagers,SeniorProjectManagers and Project Directors in representing Roeslein & Associates in all matters involving the prospecting for and the proposing, negotiating, securing, and implementationof our projects and will serve as the customer's single point of interface throughouteach of his/her projects. Traditionallyfocuses on both internal and external coordination and management of projects, phases one through five.

ESSENTIALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist project management inpreparing or formalizing project scopes of work,detailed schedules, cost budgets, pricing, and terms of customercontracts for multiple projects as well as support and implementationof assigned projects within the specifically defined project parameters.
- Assist inpreparing andpresenting newcontract proposals orcontract changes,andisresponsible for allcustomer billings.
- Assist insecure andmanagingallnecessary project resourcestomeettheprojects' goals;thisincludes allproject subcontractingas well as managing input from Roeslein's direct labor resources.
- Ensurethatallexpenditurescorrespondwiththeproject'sestimatedcosts.
- Assist project managementwith maintaining/ updatingvarious key project documents including schedules, scope of supply, ECI, & buy-out reports.
- Assist inthe biddingprocess forproject subcontractors as well as coordinating allsub-contractoractivities, assuring scope is completed per specification and schedule.
- AssistBusinessDevelopmentwithestimatingandapplicationsindevelopingestimatesforprojectjobs.
- Maintainalldeadlinesestablishedwiththecustomerandprojectteam.
- Completethemonthlyprojectionsfor eachprojectassigned.
- Provideregularupdates anddistributionoftheprojectcontroldocuments.
- Coordinate the input from all project resource groups including (but not limited to):Engineering, Technology/Consultants,Fabrication, Shipping, and Construction Resources.
- Provideon-siteinstallation,start-upsupport,and site inspectionswhennecessary.
- Responsibleforprojects'conformancetoR&A'sstandardsofquality,ethicsandsafety.
- Traveldomesticallyandinternationally10-50%peryearanduptofour(4)weeksduration.
- RegularlytravelbetweenSt.Louis,MOHeadquartersandmanufacturingfacilityinRedBud,IL.
- MaintainexistingR&Acustomerrelationships.
- Developandmaintainrelationshipswith employeesatalllocations.
- Conduct activities ina safeandhealthy manner and work inaccordance withestablished safety andcompany requirements.

WORKENVIRONMENT:
Work is performedin an office and uncontrolled atmosphere.Exposure toharsh conditions-such as:dust, fumes, chemicals,hazardousmaterials,noise, and varying weatherand temperatures-for short periods of time is possible.All employeesare required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipmentin designatedareas.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor'sdegreeinEngineering,Building/ConstructionManagement,orarelatedfieldisrequired.
- Minimum of three {3) years of professional experience ina technically related field is required. It isstrongly preferredthattwo (2) years ofexperience beasaProject Engineer, resident Construction Engineer,Project Coordinator, or a related position.
- Computer skills and anindepth knowledge of MicrosoftWindows based programs arerequired. Specifically, strong skills inthe use of MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
- CertifiedProject ManagementProfessional(PMP)and/orregisteredProfessionalEngineer(P.E)ispreferred.
- Demonstratedhistoryofstrategicandtacticalgoalsettingandattainment.
- Mustbeabletodevelopstronginteraction skills;learnto interacteffectivelyanddiplomaticallywithanumber of diversepeoplebothonanindividualbasisaswellaswithingroupsituations,whiledevelopinglasting,positive customerrelationshipbasedontheabilitytofocusonthecustomersatisfactionandtoobtainthecustomer'strust.
- Strongfinancial background including operations budget development, cost control, andcapital spending justification is strongly preferred.
- Workingknowledgeofjobsitesafetyproceduresandpurchasingpractices.
- Specific estimating skills for engineering, construction management, and mechanical and electrical constructionservices.
- WorkingknowledgeofcommonschedulingconceptssuchasCPM,PERT,Ganttcharts,resourceloading,etc.
- Stronganalyticalandproblem-solvingskillsare required.
- Ability to acquirea workingknowledge of Roeslein's cost accounting system, gross profit targets, standards, policies, procedures, and general business philosophies.
- Abilitytoworkflexiblehours withsomeweekendandholidayworkrequired.
