**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking an **Assistant Project Manager** to be based in **San Diego, CA** .
The responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager include:
+ Manages one or more moderately complex project, involving a combination of the following:
+ Clients with a regional geographic footprint; OR,
+ Projects involving multiple services provided by regional IE offices; OR,
+ Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
+ Works mostly independently but receives basic instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features and possible solutions.
+ Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.
Reporting and Analytical Responsibilities:
+ Utilizing digital engineering deliverables such as drawings, models and GIS apps as well as Digital Solutions used for collection, analysis and simulation.
+ Supports various disciplines and projects across all areas of Engineering.
+ Under direct or general supervision, may complete scientific assignments of limited complexity.
+ May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned scientific personnel.
+ Performs analytics leveraging interdisciplinary techniques to extract knowledge or insights from data in various forms, either structured or unstructured
+ Engage within data analysis fields such as statistics, data mining, and predictive analytics.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Masters degree preferred .
+ Software skills to include MS Office, Sharepoint, Archibus
+ Document Control
**Additional Information**
Candidate will be subject to client background screening upon hire, and must be able to pass the screening.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $83,000.00 - $108,000.00.
