We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management and coordination of detention projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget. This role requires excellent organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft 365, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
- Track detention projects coming out for bid and create monthly bid schedules.
- Print plans, specifications, and addenda for project bidding.
- Assist in bid preparation with project managers.
- Manage resources and contact suppliers and subcontractors to request quotes.
- Create and update supplier and subcontractor contact logs.
- Review all supplier shop drawing submittals with project managers.
- Maintain documentation and set up job files for new projects.
- Review all change order requests and assist project managers in obtaining pricing.
- Assist in preparing closeout documentation.
- Track material ordering with construction project schedules.
- Attend construction project meetings in multiple states.
- Coordinate job equipment and material needs with field personnel.
- Assist in drafting hardware schedules and equipment schedules.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365.
- Ability to be on-site as deemed necessary by the project.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, engineering, or relevant work experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Valid Driver's License for driving to the project sites
