Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of project execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
2. Oversee quality control measures to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard.
3. Implement cost control strategies to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
4. Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
5. Manage contracts and liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients to maintain positive relationships.
6. Participate in the decision-making process, providing valuable input and innovative solutions.
7. Lead teams effectively, promoting a positive work environment and ensuring high levels of productivity.
8. Continually monitor and report on project status, identifying any potential issues or delays and implementing appropriate solutions.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in construction project management.
3. Proven experience in quality control, cost control, budgeting, risk management, contract management, scheduling, and planning.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
5. Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
7. Proficient in the use of project management software and other relevant computer applications.
8. A strong understanding of the construction industry, including knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
9. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and implement effective solutions.
11. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
