Assistant Project Manager
VAA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support Project Managersand other departments to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with scope. You will also be responsible for tracking and maintaining QA/QC requirements throughout the project lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful execution of a wide range of projects while gaining valuable experience in project management.

Your role:
- Assist the Project Manager to maintain discipline-specific project scope, schedules and budgets for multi-discipline projects and coordinate with all disciplines for successful project delivery.
- Prepare, review, and execute proposals as needed.
- Under the direction of the Project Manager, distribute work to project team.
- Perform quality control reviews.
- Establish and maintain project schedules, engineering budget projections and project reports.
- Work closely with the Project Coordination Team for document control, RFI's submittals, etc.
- Potential 20% travel to construction job sites or client offices.
Your resume must include:
- Certificate in construction related design/drafting or construction management or related field and 7 years of relevant experienceOR 8+ years or directly related experience.
- Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project required.
- Project Management software and MS Office proficiency.
- Team leadership and mentoring experience
