In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager, providing invaluable support in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of construction projects within the life sciences industry.

Project Coordination:
- Assist the Project Manager in coordinating and scheduling project activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to project timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to facilitate effective communication and information flow.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, reports, meeting minutes, and project updates.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and propose proactive solutions to mitigate them.
Construction Site Management:
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and address any on-site concerns or issues.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Review and track project costs, invoices, and change orders, ensuring adherence to the approved budget.
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates, addressing concerns, and contributing to decision-making processes.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, including drawings, specifications, and other relevant documentation.
- Prepare and distribute project reports, highlighting progress, issues, and potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards specific to the life sciences sector.
Job Details
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to life sciences facilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED AP) is a plus.
- Experience with cleanroom construction or GMP facility projects.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines specific to the life sciences industry.
