Job Details
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial construction and federal construction, with at least 3 years of experience in the field. This role will require you to be a part of a team that is dedicated to delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, ranging from commercial buildings to industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Project Manager in planning, managing, and executing commercial and industrial construction projects.
- Coordinating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met.
- Reviewing and analyzing project specifications and blueprints to determine the scope of work and required resources.
- Preparing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and other necessary documentation.
- Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as necessary to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure that work is being performed in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Assisting in the resolution of any issues or disputes that may arise during the course of the project.
- Providing regular updates to the Project Manager and other stakeholders on the status of the project.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of commercial and industrial construction management experience, focusing on multi-family, healthcare, and higher education projects.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Demonstrated capability in managing large-scale construction projects.
- Profound understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management proficiencies.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in construction management software and relevant computer applications.
- Thorough knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and regulatory compliance.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
