We have an exciting Assistant Project Manager opportunity for a great talent with commercial HVAC experience! Gpac, a 30+ year-old recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established Mechanical Contractor in Northeastern Illinois. The ideal candidate will support the successful execution of commercial HVAC projects, assisting the Project Manager in coordinating tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring project goals are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth in the mechanical construction industry.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in the commercial HVAC industry (preferred).
• Proven ability to assist in managing HVAC projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle project documentation, schedules, and communications.
• Familiarity with project management processes, including estimating, scheduling, and material procurement.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members, subcontractors, and vendors.
