About The Role
We are actively searching for a range of energetic professionals to fill various roles assisting the General Manager. The infrastructure team project manages the design, engineering, authority approvals, construction, commissioning and turn over of various hydrogen production facilities. The ideal candidates would preferably hold qualification in a project management, construction management or engineering discipline and have industry experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, construction industries.
This may include a mechanical, electrical, E&I, process engineering, or similar background, or, you may have strengths in project management or coordination and have experience with multiple engineering disciplines and project management of similar projects.
You would be a part of a dynamic team and would take instruction from and report to the GM.
Responsibilities/Goals:
- Assist in construction & engineering project development from concept to execution under mentorship of GM or other Assistant Project managers.
- Draft project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing in collaboration with project coordinators.
- Drafting and maintaining project documentations including project's document control systems, project schedules, project overview, etc. in collaboration with project coordinators and other assistant project managers.
- Working with non-design consultants as per project needs including permits, utilities, property management, etc.
- Supporting project construction needs as required with data recording, data filing and data management requests in collaboration with other assistant project managers.
- Supporting procurement needs for the project as required in collaboration with Procurement Specialist.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Corporation.
Skills & Qualifications required:
- Bachelor or similar in relevant engineering discipline, project management, construction management or similar is highly desirable, but not essential.
- Minimum 2-5 years industry experience in either project engineering, management, coordination, controls or project management assistant on relevant projects.
- Ability to read and understand engineered design, P&ID's, construction design, project specifications.
- Competence with AutoCAD 2D is highly desirable.
- Ability to effectively use MS Project or similar is required.
- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
- Need to be able to draft documents with attention to detail.
