Our company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Assistant Project Manager with expertise in Healthcare Construction, specifically in Ground up Hospital Construction. This position will be pivotal in managing complex healthcare construction projects, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and within the required AHCA regulations. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Project Manager to ensure that all project goals are met, and will be directly involved in planning, coordinating, and overseeing the successful completion of our construction projects. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in project management within the healthcare construction industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the planning and implementation of healthcare construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with AHCA regulations.
2. Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables, ensuring that all project milestones are met on time and within budget.
3. Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Monitor project progress continuously, identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions.
5. Maintain a high level of communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns promptly.
6. Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with company and AHCA regulations.
7. Participate in project meetings and provide input on project planning and execution strategies.
8. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all work is being carried out in accordance with project plans and AHCA regulations.
9. Support the Project Manager in managing project risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
10. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role, specifically in healthcare construction and ground up hospital construction.
2. Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Sr. PE in the construction industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of AHCA regulations and compliance requirements in healthcare construction.
4. Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and implement effective solutions.
7. High level of attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously.
8. Proficient in the use of project management software and other relevant technology.
9. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. AHCA certification or a similar qualification would be highly advantageous.
