DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a construction or project management role, preferably in the commercial or industrial sector.
- Demonstrated solid organizational abilities, including managing multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with project team members, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in reviewing and managing project documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will assume a pivotal role within our team, serving as a cornerstone in upholding organizational integrity while showcasing unparalleled proficiency in time management. This individual will ensure seamless project operations, foster efficiency, and drive success through meticulous attention to detail and proactive management practices.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Assist in managing and organizing project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
- Coordinate the scheduling and procurement of materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
- Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) by communicating with stakeholders and coordinating responses to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Manage the submittal process, including reviewing and tracking submittals from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Support invoicing tasks by tracking costs, preparing billing documents, and coordinating with accounting departments.
- Maintain and organize project documents, both digital and hard copies, to ensure accessibility and accuracy for project team members.
- Facilitate equipment procurement by obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking delivery and installation schedules.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control measures, including conducting inspections and coordinating corrective actions as necessary.
