Job Overview:
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the project management team and ensuring the successful completion of various industrial construction projects. You will be responsible for assisting with project coordination, documentation management, and maintaining the project management software, Procore. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute significantly to the overall success of our projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating project activities, including scheduling, material procurement, and subcontractor management
- Maintain project files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Input and manage project data in Procore, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Generate and distribute project reports, including progress updates, budget tracking, and change request logs
- Support the project team in preparing and reviewing project proposals, contracts, and change orders
- Assist with budgeting and cost tracking activities
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate project progress
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards
- Assist with project closeout activities, including documentation and final punch list
- Provide general administrative support to the project management team as needed
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in construction project coordination or administration
- Proven experience working with project management software, preferably Procore
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of construction industry standards and best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Benefits
The annual base compensation range for this role is between $65,000 and $80,000. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications.
