We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Assistant Project Manager (Electrical) to join our growing team in the construction industry. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious professional to contribute to the growth and success of our company. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of electrical construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Project Manager in the planning and execution of electrical construction projects, including the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
2. Coordinate with the project team to ensure all electrical systems are installed and functioning properly.
3. Oversee the implementation of change management processes to ensure project objectives are met.
4. Conduct quality control checks to ensure the work meets or exceeds the project specifications and industry standards.
5. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, and contracts.
6. Conduct regular project reviews to assess the progress and performance of the project, identify issues, and develop solutions.
7. Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
8. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
9. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
10. Assist in the resolution of any issues or disputes that arise during the project.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction project management.
3. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, construction management, and quality control.
4. Proven experience in change management and project documentation.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
8. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
9. Proficient in the use of project management software.
10. Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is a plus.
