We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Assistant Project Manager to join our team, specializing in Commercial Tenant Improvement (TI) Interiors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, particularly in managing commercial projects and tenant improvement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, forward-thinking team that is dedicated to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager, clients, and construction teams to ensure the successful completion of commercial TI interior projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the management and execution of commercial TI interior projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
3. Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.
4. Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
5. Assist in the preparation of project reports and documentation, including project status updates, budget reports, and change orders.
6. Collaborate with the Project Manager in resolving any issues or challenges that may arise during the project.
7. Participate in project meetings and provide input on project planning and execution strategies.
8. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment within the project team and with all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial projects and tenant improvements.
2. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
3. Proven experience in managing commercial TI interior projects, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
7. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to quality and excellence.
10. Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or a related field is a plus.
