Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager to join our team in the Minneapolis area. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and grow in the construction industry and will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in all aspects of project management, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of the construction project.
• Work with project stakeholders to develop project budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with the design team, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all project requirements are met.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other team members.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost reports.
• Review and approve project invoices and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with all building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Familiarity with construction software, including project management tools and scheduling software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all project stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
