Position Overview:
The Assistant Project Manager will support the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial ground-up and interiors projects. This role is ideal for a driven construction professional with a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in overseeing all phases of construction, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any challenges.
- Manage project documentation, including RFI logs, submittals, and change orders.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to meet project specifications and expectations.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules and reports for internal and client updates.
- Foster a positive team environment and promote effective communication.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working on commercial ground-up or interiors projects with a general contractor.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency in construction management software and project scheduling tools.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
