Qualifications:
- Education/Certification Requirements:
- 2 years of construction-related experience.
- LEED certification or commitment to complete within one (1) year of hire.
Technical Skills:
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
- Familiarity with construction practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Ability to learn construction industry software quickly, such as Procore, Measure Square, Fieldwire, and PlanGrid.
Experience and Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Self-starter with a fast-learning ability.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze project information to forecast material needs and installation processes.
- Facilitate effective communication among internal and external project team members.
- Travel to sites to observe work progress, document, and report project status.
- Identify and track issues to resolve challenges and avoid claims.
- Prepare, review, and process submittals, samples, shop drawings, and LEED information.
- Maintain project logs and files, ensuring accuracy.
- Attend project meetings and assist in reviewing subcontractor/supplier invoices.
- Assist in procuring materials and subcontractors.
- Support the preparation of documentation for client billings, including schedules of values and requisitions.
Salary Range: 45K to 60K
