Description/Job Summary:
Responsibilities/Duties:
Leadership, Staff Management and Organizational Strategy:
- Supervise Site Supervisors, Program Specialists, Medical Staff and Direct Support Professionals to include daily operations, supervision practices, implementation of consumer plans and documentation.
- In collaboration with the Fiscal Administrator or Office Manager, provide oversight to the recruitment process to include scheduling candidates for and participating in interviews. Oversee the hiring, and orientation of new staff as necessary.
- Support management team with documentation around supervision to include progressive discipline as warranted.
Quality Assurance:
- Reviews site documentation in preparation for audits both internal and external.
Finance, Development and other Operations:
- Supports the Unit Director in adhering to license, funder and budget requirements.
- Provide support and intervention for individuals and staff during a crisis.
- Create an environment that empowers individuals through the development of skills and coordination of resources and supportive services.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
- At least 5 years' work experience in mental health/IDD direct service and 2 years of supervisory experience.
Required Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services or related field from an accredited institution.
Required Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Products and Applications.
- Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle.
- Subject to employment screenings, including FBI clearance, if applicable.
