Assistant Professor - School of Nursing (Tenure Track) - University of Indianapolis

Job Description

The University of Indianapolis is seeking an Assistant professor in the School of Nursing. This position is a 10-month, tenure-track appointment with rank and salary commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction within content area of expertise; service to the School of Nursing, University, and community; participation in scholarly activities; and academic advising. The ideal candidate must have two years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Provides service to the School of Nursing, University, and community
• Participates in scholarly activities
• Participates in academic advising

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing; Doctorate strongly preferred
• Unencumbered RN license in the State of Indiana
• Unencumbered APRN license in the State of Indiana
• Publication and/or professional presentations commensurate with experience
• Demonstrated record of involvement in the professional community
• Minimum of two years of experience as a nurse practitioner
