Full-Time Faculty Position: Assistant Professor or Lecturer in Business Administration
Ohio Dominican University (ODU) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-eligible position as an Assistant Professor in Business Administration or lecturer (non-tenure track), beginning August 2025.
Founded in 1911 by the Dominican Sisters of St. Mary of the Springs, ODU prides itself on small class sizes along with a commitment to intellectual, spiritual, and professional growth.
In this position, you will:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in business, specializing in marketing and business analytics.
- Develop and refine courses to support ODU's innovative undergraduate and MBA programs, offered in diverse delivery formats including face-to-face, online, and hybrid.
- Engage in service to the university, Business Division, and community, contributing to ODU's mission as a Catholic university, founded in the Dominican tradition.
- Conduct research and scholarship to enhance your professional growth and academic expertise.
Qualifications & Benefits:
- A Doctorate in a business-related discipline from an accredited institution by the time of hire. Candidates with a Master's degree in a business-related discipline and significant industry experience will also be considered.
- A demonstrated commitment to high-quality teaching, with an interest in mentoring and inspiring students.
- Ability to teach marketing and business analytics courses. Teaching or professional experience that aligns with the Division's other undergraduate or graduate programs is a plus.
