Job Description: Arcadia University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice, tenure track, for the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice in the College of Arts and Sciences beginning August 2025.

Responsibilities:
- The criminal justice program has a strong commitment to experiential and applied teaching, critical thinking, social justice, and teaching and working with culturally diverse populations.
- Applicants should be prepared to teach courses in introduction to criminal justice, research methods, and prisons and corrections, and ideally at least one of the following areas: critical criminology and social justice, cybercrime, juvenile delinquency, drugs and society, or forensic investigation.
Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in criminal justice/criminology or sociology is preferred by the time of appointment.
- Applicants must have strong commitment to the undergraduate teaching of criminal justice at both introductory and advanced levels, a demonstrated research agenda, the ability to collaborate on pedagogical matters with colleagues, and the capability to provide departmental and University service.
- Candidates who are able to contribute to one or more of the department's other programs (see below) will receive strong consideration.
