The Beloit College department of Mathematics and Computer Science invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Computer Science. The successful candidate will regularly teach introductory and intermediate computer science courses, in addition to courses in their area of expertise. A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field is required by start date. The anticipated start date is January 2025.
We seek an excellent teacher who is committed to teaching and mentoring undergraduates within a residential, liberal arts environment. Faculty at Beloit College teach six courses per year. Candidates will contribute to and advance the department's commitment to engaging student interest and supporting their success in computer science. In addition to teaching, faculty are expected to develop research programs that engage undergraduates; contribute to all-college programs, including the advanced mentoring program and international education; and participate in campus governance.
