Role Overview
The Assistant Operations Manager supports the Operations Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations at Liquid Soap Products. This role focuses on managing production, scheduling, shipping and receiving, inventory, and warehouse activities to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. The Assistant Operations Manager plays a key role in maintaining smooth workflows across all departments with an opportunity to take on the Operations Manager role in the next 6-12 months.
Key Roles
- Production Coordinator
- Oversee daily production activities to meet schedules and ensure quality standards are upheld.
- Schedule Manager
- Assist in developing and executing the production schedule, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Logistics Supervisor
- Manage shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Inventory Controller
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory levels are optimized.
- Warehouse Organizer
- Oversee warehouse operations to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and distribution of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise daily production activities to ensure products meet quality and efficiency standards.
- Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and deadlines are met.
- Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders and deliveries.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of materials while minimizing waste, maintaining an accurate inventory with <1% variance.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
