Essential Responsibilities
- Assists in the efficient day-to-day operations of the DC.
- Contributes to meeting overall financial objectives of the distribution center (DC) compared to budget.
- Creates and fosters an environment of trust, open two-way communication, and cohesive team effort.
- Ensures alignment with strategic vision and communicates organizational mission and values to the team.
- Communicates with team members through regular and frequent meetings.
- Holds one-on-one meetings with direct reports at least twice a month.
- Ensures adherence to operational processes, policies and procedures
- Ensures the DC meets company standards on appearance, cleanliness, and functionality.
- Identifies opportunities and drives continuous improvement initiatives in the DC.
- Facilitates resolution of customer service issues.
- Verifies driver payroll for accuracy.
- Conducts required physical cycle counts; reviews discrepancies and makes appropriate corrections.
- Ensures use of proper safety equipment and maintains a safe working environment by ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Follows all Company policies and executes Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.
- Completes all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date
- Execute team member performance improvement plans, progressively discipline and terminations when appropriate per Company policy
Non Essential Responsibilities
- Participates in monthly DC-wide meetings to communicate organization/DC wins and opportunities and speak to any questions or concerns.
- Assists Loss Prevention with loss prevention audit and safety audits
- May be responsible for safety and other training and periodic retraining to all team members and contract employees in the DC.
- May monitor employee time records and review/approve paid time off and leave of absence requests in accordance to policy and procedures.
- May participate in interviewing and the hiring process for potential DC team members.
- May manage the DC in the absence of the DC leader.
- May be involved in assisting coaching conversations and administering disciplinary actions
- May lead or participate in daily stand up meetings at the beginning of each shift or team meeting.
- May take an active role in onboarding and training new DC team members.
- Execute company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Contributes ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company

Pay Range:
