We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Nurse Manager for our Operating Room (OR) to join our esteemed healthcare organization. This is an incredible opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage a dedicated team in a high-paced, technologically advanced clinical environment. The successful candidate will be a key player in the strategic planning and execution of clinical services, ensuring financial growth and stewardship, and promoting quality outcomes in patient care.
Responsibilities:
As the Assistant Nurse Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the OR, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
2. Providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
3. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across heart, vascular, and neurology departments to ensure seamless patient care.
4. Leading and participating in interventional procedures, including minimally invasive and robot-assisted surgeries.
5. Ensuring adherence to clinical practice guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care.
6. Driving strategic planning initiatives, contributing to the overall growth and development of the department.
7. Managing departmental budget and resources, ensuring financial growth and stewardship.
8. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
9. Participating in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staff, demonstrating effective human resource leadership.
10. Continuously monitoring and improving the quality of care and services provided, utilizing data to drive decision making and improvements.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. An Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) is required, a Bachelor's Degree (BSN) is preferred.
2. Current and valid RN license.
3. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on inpatient, outpatient, heart, vascular, neurology, and interventional procedures.
4. Proven experience in a leadership role, with a strong ability to manage a diverse team.
5. Excellent knowledge of clinical practice guidelines and quality outcomes.
6. Experience in human resource leadership and management of the environment.
7. Demonstrated ability in financial management and strategic planning.
8. Experience with minimally invasive and robot-assisted surgery.
9. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
12. Ability to handle high-stress situations with grace and composure.
