About the Position

We’re seeking a driven and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team in Waco, Texas! Our full-service casual diner is all about serving delicious comfort food in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities

• Lead Operations: Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure top-notch guest service and food quality.
• Inventory Management: Oversee supply orders, track usage, and control costs effectively.
• Financial Analysis: Review Profit and Loss statements and implement actions to boost profitability.
• Team Scheduling: Create and manage employee schedules based on business needs.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to food safety standards and health codes.
• Team Leadership: Hire, train, evaluate, and inspire a team of talented employees.
• Asset Protection: Maintain operational controls and safeguard company assets.
• Marketing: Execute local store marketing strategies to engage with the community and build brand loyalty.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years of management experience in full-service casual dining.
• Certifications: ServSafe certified.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in P&L analysis, cash handling, and food cost management.
• Strong communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
• Competence in computer tools, including Excel and Word.
• Additional Requirements:
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
• Must pass a background check.
